Staying at this quaint 14th-century smugglers Inn overlooking the sea was a delightful experience. The rooms, originally a cottage, were beautifully laid out and spotless, offering an amazing view. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, going out of their way to be friendly and efficient. The location was amazing, with friendly staff providing clear guidance and an out-of-this-world atmosphere. The dining experience was of an excellent standard, with great efficiency, although pre-ordering was required. Overall, a memorable stay worth the price, with only minor disappointments.

The hotel offers lovely sea views and historical charm, but the rooms are quite small and overpriced. The service is top-notch with helpful staff, although the dining is pleasant but lacks in bathroom amenities. The location is ideal for exploring Lynmouth with beautiful surroundings and excellent walking options.

The rooms, despite being fair in size, are so small that you can easily stub your feet just walking around the bed. The absence of a television is compensated by the delightful sea view.
